French Legras carafe with 6 liqueur glasses
French Legras carafe with 6 liqueur glasses
Definition.
Very nice carafe with 6 matching liqueur glasses, made in the middle of the 19th century.
The set is made of mouth-blown glass, with a crystal content to obtain a more beautiful shine.
At the bottom of the glasses and the carafe you can still see the cut of the blowpipe. After blowing the objects, enamel flowers and figures were applied by hand.
Very exceptional for this set is that the original bowl is still included.
No two glasses are exactly the same in size and weight.
Given its age, a small trace of wear may be present, as well as glass threads, air bubbles and imperfections are completely normal for handmade antique glassware.
