Definition.
Very nice art deco serving bowl, consisting of a silver-plated holder and 4 crystal bowls.
For these plate they used a different metal, over which a fine layer of silver is placed.
This is the Silver plated process.
The bowl has a decorative pattern of knotted braids.
The 4 bowls are made of cast crystal and are decorated at the bottom with cut lines. These lines together form a star.
Some of the shells have few chips off from using in the time.
The crystal has the typical cut star used by Baccarat and Val Saint Lambert
Given its age, a small trace of wear may be present, as well as glass threads, air bubbles and imperfections are completely normal for antique glassware over 100 years old.
