Definition.
Very nice silver-plated coffee pot. This one has a very sleek appearance and was mainly made as hotel silver to use in the tea room.
For these coffee pot they used a different metal, over which a fine layer of silver is placed.
This is the Silver plated process.
At the bottom of the coffee pot you can find the marks.
And also the name of the hotel, where it was used: “Wiltcher's Hotel Brussels – Laderier”
Unfortunately, on one side there is a big spot in the silver. This is happens when the pot gets to hot.
