Crystal Jardinière “Valambert” VSL (3)
Crystal Jardinière “Valambert” VSL
Definition.
This beautiful crystal set was made at the beginning of the 20th century in Belgium.
And belongs to the tableware line: "Service Moulé Valambert and Cristal" designed by Charles Graffart & René Delvenne.
These can be found in the catalogue of 1913.
The 11-piece set is made of cast crystal.
The beautiful curved decorations give a beautiful sparkle in the light.
The original purpose of this set is to make a table runner with flowers.
You can just put water in the parts and arrange your flowers in them.
Of course, it can also be used for other decorations, such as pot pouri, sand and shells, pearls,...
With the different pieces, you can create multiple compositions. In the photos I show the largest composition in which all 10 parts have been used.
Given its age, a small trace of wear may be present, as well as glass threads, air bubbles and imperfections are completely normal for handmade antique glassware.
