7 Antique Gouda Holland bowls “N.P.”
Definition.
These 7 rare beautiful bowls were made in the beginning of the 20th century in the Netherlands.
All bowls are nicely marked at the bottom.
The rare bowls are made of ceramic and hand-painted.
They are beautifully decorated with marigolds.
The décor used here is called "Juliana".
In 1908 the NP décor was introduced with adapted designs, made by Willem P. Hartgring, who had previously worked at Rozenburg.
These bowls are also called the "petit four" bowls and belong to "mold 1".
Given its age, there may be a trace of use, as well as mini cracks in the glaze may occur with antique ceramics.
