Definition.
Very beautiful statue of Diana, this one was made at the beginning of the 20th century by the polish sculpture “WB”
The statue is made of bronze and is attached to a green marble pedestal.
In the sculpture are the artist's initials "WB"
A copper plate is also attached to the statue with the Polish text: Nagroda wedrowca redakcji "Polonji"
Given its age, a small trace of use may be present.
Diana goddess of the hunt
The Greek goddess Artemis - called Diana by the Romans - was a daughter of Leto and Zeus, the supreme god. Her twin brother was Apollo. As the goddess of the hunt, Artemis or Diana is often depicted with a bow and arrow. She lived in the forest, in the company of her companions, the nymphs.
