German art deco glass candlestick “Streit – Leuchter o. Zylinder”

Definition.

This beautiful antique glass candle holders is made in the early 20th century by the German glass/ crystal factory Streit.

The candlestick is  made of cast glass, with a crystal content to achieve a more beautiful shine.

This is beautifully decorated with diamond motif.

The candle holder has an exceptional shape of a hemisphere.

This can mainly be used to place a candle on.

Given its age, a small trace of wear may be present, as well as glass threads, air bubbles and imperfections are completely normal for handmade art deco glassware.
