Belgian antique glass candlesticks “Sacre Coeur - VSL”

Definition.

This beautiful antique glass candle holders are made in the late 19th century by the Belgian glass/ crystal factory Val Saint Lambert.

The candlesticks are made of cast glass, with a crystal content to get a more beautiful shine.

The candlesticks are made of shiny crystal, after which gold paintings are applied by hand.

It is rare that these candlesticks still have the original gold painting.

They are also equipped with grease traps with crystal icicles.

This makes the accents stand out even more.

1 candlestick depicts the Sacred Heart Jesus and the other the Sacred Heart Mary.

At the bottom of the base are flowers and angel heads as decoration.

At the bottom of the base you can find the manufacturer's signature.

Given its age, a small trace of wear may be present, as well as glass threads, air bubbles and imperfections are completely normal for handmade antique glassware.
