Definition.
Very nice carafe with 5 matching liqueur glasses, made in the middle of the 19th century.
The set is made of mouth-blown crystal.
At the bottom of the glasses and the carafe you can still see the cut of the blowpipe.
After blowing the decanter, she made a gold rim at the top.
No two glasses are exactly the same in size and weight.
Crystal from the 19th century is not as pure as the crystal we know today.
The name of the carafe is “yqeum”
Given its age, a small trace of wear may be present, as well as glass threads, air bubbles and imperfections are completely normal for handmade antique glassware.
